SANTO CARAJILLO

KICKSTART YOUR COFFEE BREAK

Hailing from Spain but now ubiquitous in Mexico, the carajillo is overtaking the espresso martini. It’s easier to make and has much deeper roots. The light smoke of Mezquila balances out the sweetness of the Licor 43.

2 oz Santo Mezquila

1 oz freshly brewed espresso

2 oz Licor 43

Coffee beans and/or edible marigolds for garnish

HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN

Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a glass with ice and garnish with coffee beans and marigolds (optional).
